Banamco

A Saudi kitchen factory since 1995, ten showrooms in four cities, and a website still carrying placeholder projects. I rebuilt it as an editorial story, with a live kitchen planner, a branch finder and a care centre for after-sales.

Overview

نبني مطبخ يعيش معك.

Banamco makes aluminium and wood kitchens in its own Riyadh factory and sells them through ten showrooms in Riyadh, Khobar, Dammam and Al-Ahsa. It's a real company with thirty years behind it.

The website didn't reflect that. The home page loaded a hero image of around 36 MB, projects were still titled as placeholders, and the ten showrooms and the maintenance forms were hard to reach on a phone.

I built the version a company of that size deserves. It's self-initiated, using their slogan, their facts and their showroom photography.

Why this one

A big company deserves a site that feels its size

With ten showrooms and an after-sales department, the website has two jobs: send people to the right branch, and make it easy to ask for help after the kitchen is installed.

01

Measurements before the visit

Instead of a generic form, the planner lets a customer slide their wall lengths and watch a straight, L or U kitchen draw itself. The result goes to WhatsApp with the numbers.

02

Ten branches, one tap away

City tabs list every showroom with its name, landmark, phone and map. That's the question most visitors arrive with.

03

After-sales is part of the product

Quote, kitchen maintenance, appliance maintenance, re-measure. Each request is labelled before it is sent, so it reaches the right team the first time.

How it was built

Quiet, editorial, and fast

Paper and ink with a deep navy taken from their logo and their orange as the only accent. Large light headings, hairline rules instead of cards, numbered sections like a printed catalogue.

01

A planner drawn in SVG

The plan is plain inline SVG recalculated on every slider move. No canvas, no library, and it stays crisp on any screen. RTL label anchoring had to be handled by hand.

02

Real photography carries it

Their own professional showroom photos fill the gallery and reel. Two calm AI images set the tone of the cover. Clips that couldn't be verified as their work were left out.

03

Light by default

The new home page weighs a few hundred kilobytes against tens of megabytes before, with lazy-loaded images and no framework.

Where it goes next

The planner and care centre are front-end only and ready to connect.

Next would be connecting care requests to their after-sales system with a ticket number, per-branch opening hours, and showroom booking.
